Are you in debt?

Are you in debt? Why did you chose this way? Is this a viable way for you economically?

I am carry some debt from school and my home loan. I chose to take on both debts to futher my financial situation in the future. It sounds a little oxymoronic when you actually write down I got into debt to make money. Oh well, it made sense when I did it. .

I'm in school loan debt. i was in credit card debt, but I got myself $8,000 out of the hole since January (which I'm very proud of myself for!) The school loans are useless and I wish I didn't have them because I'm not working in that field but it seemed good at the time

we're in debt too but is slowly getting paid off.
my credit card was used by someone overseas while they were here in Australia. I couldn't prove that they made the purchases so I am stuck paying it all off .. live and learn I guess..

Ouch blossy, that doesn't seem fair.

I'm just coming up to the end of my first term at uni and I'm already in debt! I'll have about £27K by the time I graduate... fun...

blossy, that's too bad but hey, I hope your good karma will come soon

I have a credit card loan for my laptop. I'm planning to spend all my bonus to pay it all off and just save up for my wish lists. It would be nice to eliminate one monthly bill Big Grin

i'm in debt beyond belief because anything that could go wrong after my husband and i bought a house did go wrong and we had to use credit cards to get it all fixed. then the bills started going up and neither of us were getting raises from our jobs (9/11 after math issues). my husband filed for bankruptcy (chp 7) in 2003, and then i filed (chp 13) in 2005. my husband left me in 2006 with the house and all the debts.............i haven't seen divorce papers or a dime from him since he's left. after he left, i lost my job and it took me 6 months to find another job....and during that time it was winter and i still had to pay all my bills plus the bankruptcy. i don't choose to be in this position, but i'm doing ok with keeping my head above "high waters." what i've learned during all this is that there is a large difference between want and need..............and how to take better appreciation for what i already have. Smile
