I think I am like many of the other women here. If it is something I have made for years I wing it and for many things I have changed them a little bit because of preference. If something is my very first time through I usually go by the book

I tried both methods but I always get lost somewhere, cooking is not one of my best skills.

RE: When you cook: do you measure or guess the quantities?

Only if I'm following a recipe for the first time. Otherwise I just add and taste. I've found some of the best meals doing that. Smile
