RE: Dancing for exercise
Dance is fun for exercise.. I would suggest you try zumba if you don't have a background in dance. Its a lot of fun.. But what those girls are doing looks pretty hard I'm sure they have a background in dance. But even the Choreographer says is hard.. did you see this video, looks rough http://blogs.msg.com/themonitor/2009/07/...ons-video/

RE: Dancing for exercise
wow that looks pretty amazing! Dance really is the best work out. I've recently joined classes which combine elements of dance with resistance training and the results are great! ( http://www.the-barre.com/ )

RE: Dancing for exercise
I've always known that dancing is a combination of weight loss, keeping fit and joy.Besides I heard somewhere that it even helps to become more extrovert and open minded

RE: Dancing for exercise
A few years back before I moved away to university, I spent most of my time in a games arcade. I literally spent loads on the dance machine (before it got replaced with the crap 'Dance Revolution', or whatever it's now called). I lost so much weight doing something I absolutely loved!

RE: Dancing for exercise
The side to side movements of many dances strengthen bones load as the tibia, fibula and femur. Dancing can help avoid a slipped disk at a later time occupied in cash throughout the day hump in front of a computer. It keeps their bodies moving and their joints in motion.
