Did a tonsillectomy happen to you? Are your tonsils still in place?

I still have my tonsils but there was a time for many years that I would constantly get tonsilitis. I was hoping that I would get them removed but that didn't happen.

i used to get strep throat all the time but yet i still have them and i dont know that id want them gone now because it is worse when you get them out as and adult.

I noticed that when I'll have a fever or cough my tonsils will hurt so bad.

Mine were never taken, but it seems they shrank or something like this since they are not there anymore. My doctor said it's a rare thing, but sometimes they don't need to be taken out since they just "vanish"
