Losing Pregnancy Weight

Well, my youngest was born this last April 23rd, and I have lost a lot of the pregnancy weight but I have 20 pounds to lose before I feel confident again. My brother has been trying to stop smoking for over a year and I am always telling him that he can do it; it's just a matter of having the will power. So, today, I attempted to make a pack with my dad to lose some weight; we both need it.

My brother challenged me to make the pack with him; he'll stop smoking if I make a solid effort to lose the weight. I shook on it and am now on my way. The only problem I have now is trying to figure out when I can exercise! My sons wake up at about 5:30-6 as of late and don't want to go back to sleep. My littlest one is a horrible nap taker in the mornings. So, that would leave the evening, but hubby doesn't get home 'til 7:30p and after dinner, it's time to get the kids ready for bed, which we do together. By the time the kids are in bed, asleep, 9pm.

Any suggestions?

One of my friends talked forever the other night, and she and I have made an exercising plan/goal when I go back to work to go twice a week after we get off work. I think I can manage that. We're also going to aim to go on the weekends, two days. We'll see how that works because I've noticed that's the hard one for me because I just want to hang out with my hubby and kids during that time. The cool part is that I'm losing w/o exercising. I've lost two more pounds and I'm 16 away from my pre-pregnancy weight. Today, I am wearing a pair of jeans that I wore before I got pregnant! YES! Big Grin

That's awesome. You need some aerobics or tae bo classes. They will work you out a lot ...

Keep up the good work .. so glad to hear you're already making progress Wink

Sad well, my bf bought for me!! smilie smilie i'm so depressed about being overweight for all my life that i can't exercise.. for 2 weeks i've been doing bicycle [stationary] but then i was too depressed to see NO change in weight... i was doing for 20 minutes to 1hour sometimes.. i'm really fed up!

2 weeks of so much exercises should have at least meant loss of 1kg or 2.. i want to lose at least 25kg.. my bmi would then be 19.0. COOLL! Smile
