I'm confused because I had a debate with my family. They were planning to buy MAC laptop for my brother and I objected because its too costly since he'll only use it for surfing the internet, watching DVD and other word processing. They said I can just trade my laptop if I'm jealous that he's gonna get a better laptop. But that was not my point. sheesh! If I wanted a MAC I could've bought it back then but I knew it was too much. Why would you buy something so expensive for only those functions?

Hmm .. I kinda agree that a laptop is OK when you really need it. I have one since my job means having to go to clients with the designs and so on. Otherwise a normal computer would be OK.

An expensive laptop just to have it seems a bit of a luxury to me

and to add, we have a family PC.
buying him a laptop is fine but a MAC which we will pay using a credit card is too much. I just hope I can say my point clear and not sound like a jealous sister cause I'm not, really lolz

And if all fails you'll just have to let them be .. sometimes if people are way too stubborn you just have to be the smart one to just drop it. It's indeed not a good idea to go on spending like that on a Mac that's gonna be used as any other less expensive laptop, but in the end, if they fail to understand your point, just relax and let them do whatever they please.

I get more and more sick of trying to convince people when they do something wrong. I think a good 2008 resolution would be to just not care anymore.

Anyway, I'm having a hard time eating because I got my brace adjusted again. It has thicker wires now so I don't know if its just me overreacting or it's really painful.

I've got life changing plans in my head right now and I really have to think harder before working on it.

Uff .. adjustment days really blow. I don't feel that much pain anymore (the first adjustment was the hardest), but still have have sore teeth for 2-3 days. I have started eating quite well lately, so there are less problems.

What braces do you have? I have Damon 3. Do you have the coloured ligature braces? Or Damon?
