Re: Are men cowards when it's about going to the doctor?
Well, I had a chat with my dentist and she said that the most "sissy' pacients she had are men. That women are not that afraid, but some men had to be persuaded really hard to have an extraction or a cavity filled.
Can we consider men to be "cowards" when it's about doctors and such issues? What do you think?
I can easily say the same thing about women - this runs both ways

I think that many men are scared of going to the doctors. I do believe it goes both ways but if a woman is poorly she will make an appointment to see what is wrong. Whereas a man will take forever and a day to get there!
I have had personal experiences of this. My grandad died because he wouldn't go to the doctors when he wasn't feeling well. One visit could well have saved his life.

Some men are fearful about doctors and dentists, but so are some women. Going to the dentist or a doctor can be a bit frightening at times, but it is just something in life that can't be avoided.
