Yesterday was a long day, pretty dull! Just waiting for the days to go by so we can move! 2 days to go! Woooooooohoooooo!

Just walked down to the shop and bought some food and bought a lotto ticket. Went to the op-shop, but as per usual wasn't open when it was supposed to be. :roll:

Did some more packing and vacuumed 2 years worth of dust from under our bed. Rohan's bed today...yay! not! :?

Same thing today really, just clean and pack more stuff and clean more stuff.

Organising crap, boring shite like that hehe!

Those days passed so fast .. I recall the day you told us you'll move and now you're so close to this

Well it's good to be back!

I have successfully moved into our new house and have been here just over 2 weeks.

The move wasn't so stressful, just all the stuff getting packed up! Rohan was screaming and crying cause all his stuff was being packed.

We stayed in a motel for the first week till the truck arrived and we have looked at all the beaches and the bush. We are going to check out the national park today.

I have taken Rohan to playgroup and have met some nice ladies. I have also enrolled Rohan in kindy

The weather is alot cooler than the desert of course, but still nice. It's very windy here and it's great living on the coast.

Just happy to be here finally.

Well today was a nice day! We went for a drive through the Fitzgerald River National Park, which is practicually in Hopetoun's backyard.

The road was gravel, and at times very bumpy! The view going around one of the ranges was amazing! Wouldn't want to get to close to the edge! We drove down to some really nice beaches and had some lunch I put together and we drove a bit further and had a look at a really pretty inlet.

We took some photos and headed back and stopped off at a look out to take some more photos. We are going back tomorrow if the weather is sunny again to a beach we spotted at the lookout.

I got a headache from the bumps in the road, and now our 4wd is leaking something. lol!

Then we had a lil' rest at home and headed out to pick up some movies and go to the shop.

Fish and chips for dinner tonight! Yay! Jayson is cooking them.

We went along the other coastal road the other day to a great closed in beach. The only downside is having to climb a steep dune/cliff to get back to the car. It was a killer..... :?

I look forward to going further down the track to find more beautiful beaches. the whole area is beautiful!

So glad to hear that the move was OK in the end. I cannot imagine the amount of stress such things can cause. can't wait to hear about your impressions on the new life in the following weeks. I wish you a great new life there and some nice friends to chat with too, not the stupid ladies from the old place :twisted:

Well I'am back from my long hiadus I have been here in Hopetoun for a month or so and I'm loving it here.

I had a ok Christmas and I got some good presents :wink: Jayson and Rohan are well and Rohan starts kindy in 3 weeks.

Jayson is plodding along at work and I'am checking out the town and making friends.

I had my SIL and her partner visiting last week. Was great fun considering that a huge storm which covered most of the state went through here. Now the only direct route to the nearest town was washed out. The bridge is going to take a long time to fix when the flood waters reside. Now we will have to travel to the next town which is a extra hour drive.

I got my licence 4 days before Christmas and it's great to fially have that freedom.

Wow! I haven't been on for a while! Now I find out I'm member of the month! Hehe!

Well not alot happening here, just settling into the town and getting things sorted at home.

Rohan has started kindy and so far enjoys it! I have been enjoying my freedom from having my licence. Jayson is well, plodding along working!

I have started seeing a doctor about my concieving issues and I go for a ultrasound next week to check out my pelvic area and I have had blood tests done.

This is the year to sort out my infertility issues!
