im not so good at expressing myself but i have been reading some diaries from the rest of you and i know that i have alot of issues maybe it would help if i get it out a little bit, first i wanna share some poems ( i said i would to behsharam :wink

Insomnia
I’m staying up at 4 in the morning
Not sure what’s possessed me
Just thinking about my future plans
Mostly the debts that’s been stressing me
Its quiet and the babies are sleeping
Should be me too but oh well?
The light is off and I can’t see what I’m writing
I think that’s the sun but I just cant tell
Damn, what am I gonna do?
Not much choice but sit here
Looking at my mobile phone
Thinking how the hell did I get here?
I’m not really bothered and I’m feeling really tired
My belly is rumbling
But there’s nothing to eat but toast
I sigh and I shrug and then I count my blessings
Make a cup of coffee. I guess its more than most
I’m not skinny and Im able to quench my thirst
It might sound silly but in the 3rd world
With what they got they make use

I wish
I wish had a crown on my head
Maybe even a tiara
I think then you would listen to me
Like everyone listens to a queen
If you had three wishes what would you do?
Buy a car maybe two
Don’t come with any smart-ass shit
Like id wish for more wishes
That’s never the rule
I wish we could all live in a place where…
It doesn’t matter what we wear
I’m feeling judged where ever I go cos…
I don’t wear named brand clothes
I wish all the kids nowadays
Would be like kids in the 80’s
I’m sure if I was an adult back then
I would not get hit on by a baby
I wish prices didn’t rise every year
So I could still catch a bus to my boyfriends (ha, ha, ha!)
I wish my girlfriends brother would put down his gun and
And pick up a paper and pen
I wish I could be on mtv
And possibly make a bit of money
I wish there weren’t still parts of this earth
Where people looked at me funny

I can relate to both of these! I have spent many sleepless nights worrying about all of things going less than ideally in my life and I have also spent a lot of time wishing for things! I like them. I like how you use rhyme in them. You use a good mixture of full and partial word rhymes.
