In two weeks I go off to university for the first time. Is there anything you gals can let me in on that I need to know to survive there? Any stories you'd like to share?

For me Uni was something "bonus" to an already busy job ... I didn't experience life as a student that well since I was more interested in keeping my job and trying to earn some money

Normally it's a good time. You'll meet new friends and be able to learn a lot ..

I have one more year till i get to Uni... but i heard it's the best time of your life :wink:

I had fun socialising at Uni. Not as much as some of the other students there though they partied ALL the time. Its a wonder that they got any studying done rofl.

There's one thing that you should keep an eye out for and that is second hand text books. Its so much better to get a pre-loved book than have to fork out for a brand new one. I can't think of anything else though except have fun!! And it's way different to High School you actually get treated like an adult rather than a child.

It will be a wonderful chapter in your life as you grow into a mature woman
