I don't like to argue with my colleagues and i tend to respond to the jokes..
I don't even get mad I just go with the flow, so to say.

I usually break down in tears the second I walk out the door... But that's just me. They can be pretty ruthless

Often i have found people are mean to you because they find you competition, so they try to put you down. Or that they are so insecure in themselves that they make you feel bad about yourself.

People who feel ugly inside (even if they ;have a pretty pretty face or body) say horrible comments about others looks. to them or to other people. For example one girl I work with is pretty and she has very low self esteem always competing for attention off boys(even though we dont compete back) she is constantly comparing and says hurtful things about people to downgrade them and make herself feel above them. For example she says that (this is her best friend too) one girl has big tits and thats all shes got. When that girl is extremely attractive and funny too. She is just insecure about her own body. She has also mentioned that she has never seen a hot blonde before. ... yes she actually said this while she always comments on how blondes get more attention-and she wants to die her hair back to blonde.

Just ignore who ever is trying to put you down and realise they are doing it because they feel low in themselves. And plus who cares what they think if they are that rude or nasty. No one beleives things people say when all they have to say is how everyone else is crap.

Occasionally you may have to give it straight back to them too if they are that horrible. I used to do this in high school- I was never mean until someone attempted to pick on me or someone else who did not deserve it. The attack was my defence, by the second year of high school no one bothered picking on me unless they wanted tbe told publicly of all their flaws, personality wise and physically wise. I know it sounds mean but there where a lot of girls in my school who tried to put it over everyone else. I wasnt cool and I never tried to put it over anyone else I just didnt let anyone do it to me or my friends.

Hi hi .. sometimes it's good to respond with aggression too. I am a good person and sometimes people step on my toes. Sure, they do regret afterwards, because the nice girl has got the strength to fight back all the time ..

It's better to ignore idiots and just mind your own business. And from time to time it's also a good thing to kick their butts (even if figuratively) so they chill
