What do you think about gay people?

One of my best friends in High School was gay. He was the nicest person and friend a girl could ever have. Although I didn't know he was gay at the time but when I found out it didn't matter to me at all. He was still the same lovable person I always knew.

I havent lost my mind ... its backed up on disc .. somewhere

I have nothing against gay people, I treat each person based on how they treat me.
I try to be nice to everyone most of the time and continue to be that way if they deserve it Big Grin

I'm the same way if someone treats me badly them I do my best to still be good to them but it is hard when they don't deserve it.

My opinion doesn't really matter but God's opinion does.

RE: What do you think about gay people?
I think it is easy to be tolerant and open minded when the gay person is just an acquaintance, a friend, a neighbor. But what if the gay person is your mother, your father, your son?? Would we still be that tolerant? The truth is, I am not sure.

RE: What do you think about gay people?
It's indeed hard when you put it like this. I do think I'd be tolerant in the end since I know there would be less chances to make them change minds. I was raised to try and not judge people, my father told me in the end it's not my business what others do in their private life. I'd be a tad upset if someone in my family would turn gay, but I'd still love them ...

RE: What do you think about gay people?
I know, and yet, there are some sexual activities that are worse than being gay but are not noticeable. Just because being gay is a way of life, everybody has an opinion on the matter, I mean, because it is SO public. Once people come out of the closet, well, they are visibly in the open and subject to what others say or think. But what about fetichists, voyeurs, pedofiles, and so on and so on...
