I talked to some friends a few days ago and we all asked ourselves: "If there is only one God, why are there so many religions?" What do you think? we couldn't find an answer...
That is such an interesting topic and no easy answer I am sure. But I know that if you sincerely and honestly pray about it you will be able to get the answer.
I havent lost my mind ... its backed up on disc .. somewhere

I think the reason there are so many religions and only one God is the interpretation. Just like language, if I were to say something in English, then pass it on in Spanish, then that person passes it on in another language, and so on and so forth, the original statement would be changed many times over, and the meaning would no longer be the same. Interpretation is an important part of the many different religions. The main thing is that God exists, in each religion there is God, but how you worship, praise, pray, and believe all differs.
I am Christian, I do not break myself up into Baptist, Prostetant or some other denomination, as Christianity is Christianity. I would never change my faith from Christianity, because that is what I believe, something that no one can take away from me. It is my own choice and I do not push it upon others.

Sometimes one has to change her faith. Some do, others totally refuse. What could convince you to change your faith? are you willing to do this?
I consider myself a Christian and I follow the teachings in the Holy Bible. This is something I could never change.

I can say that I wouldn't consider changing my religion. I believe in God and the church's teachings. In my heart, I hope that one day the influence of the church will be strengthened again in my country so that people can live again with moral values and stop being selfish.

RE: Would you ever consider changing your religion?
I would never change my faith for anyone except for myself... I also often wonder why with one God there are so many religions. Once I looked into what so many religions believe in. I find it strange how similar most of it is... all except for one or two things that defines the rest of it all. Very strange, and this thought burdens me often.
Having said that I see myself growing in my faith and who am I to say what that means...

RE: Would you ever consider changing your religion?
Well, I have changed my faith. Or rather in a religious sense lost it.
I was raised a Christian, but kinda grew out of it. Though I had my own reasons. I have too many reasons for not believing in religions that I think I ever could get back to believing in one.
I do believe everyone should find their own reasons for believing or not believing in religions and not just adopt whatever they inherit from their parents or culture.
